Pilot Action Montenegro

28 February 2023
Workshop on the agricultural waste material and pilot action in the Tehnopolis premises (MN)
Overview

Today, the partner of the AWeS0Me project, Inovaciono preduzetnički centar Tehnopolis of Montenegro, organized a workshop on the use of agricultural waste for the production of energy-efficient building material in its premises and a presentation of the pilot action at IPC Technopolis.

During the workshop, with the support of colleagues from the Faculty of Construction and local participants, a discussion about the basics and importance of using agricultural waste in the construction industry, and the design of prototypes has been held.

A special part of the workshop was dedicated to the presentation of the pilot action that IPC Technopolis has been working on for the past period, which involves the construction of two walls of waste from different agricultural crops, namely baled soya, wheat and hemp straw and shash maize. With the appropriate equipment, the partner will be able to measure the thermal conductivity of the walls, thus continuing good practice in the use of innovative technologies for greater energy efficiency.
