In the framework of the project “Agricultural Waste as Sustainable 0 km building Material – AweS0Me”, the PP4 GAL Molise Verso il 2000 organizes a self-building workshop for insulating a wall in its conference room using materials recovered from agricultural waste. The workshop, which is open to building professionals, construction companies, as well as agricultural operators, aims to provide theoretical and practical knowledge on the use of materials recovered from agricultural waste, such as straw, to make CE-certified and 100% natural thermal external coating.
In the second phase of the workshop, scheduled for November 17 and 18, 2022, plastering will be performed. Having completed the straw drying phase, therefore, workshop participants will be able to prepare the unfired lime plaster and ensure its installation directly on the straw and lime substrate.
